Emergency Air Suspension Inflation Device |

The factory fitted airlines have a push-fit connection into the valve block. Push-fit connections - If you are unsure how to use these push-fit connections, please practice this technique on one of the Y pieces before attempting any fitting on your vehicle. To remove an airline - Using a flat blade screwdriver or your fingertip lightly push inwards on the collar surrounding the airline while at the same time lightly pulling outwards on the airline. To insert an airline - make sure the airline is clean and not pinched, scored or deformed. Push the airline inwards approximately 12mm (you will feel a slight click). Pinched,
scored or deformed airlines should be cut clean at 90 degrees with a
suitable blade or |

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS For ease of photography we have removed the EAS valve block and housing from the vehicle. Removal is not required when fitting this device. Depressurising the system - The air suspension system should be fully depressurised before starting working on the EAS valve block. If the Land Rover T4 test equipment is not available to depressurise the system you should park the vehicle at the lowest possible access height and great care should be taken when removing any airlines. |

|
This is
the EAS valve block housing, it can be found under the bonnet and is
situated just above the passenger side front wheel.
On the engine side of the EAS housing, you will see seven airline pipes entering the valve block, the ones we are interested in are the block of four, three of these may have colored sleeves. |

At
this stage there may still be some pressurised air in the springs and
tank. Care must be taken as air will be released and the corner of the
vehicle relevant to the airline being removed will go down to the bump
stops. Check for ground clearance under the vehicle and always wear eye
protection.

You will notice that the
valves are numbers on the side of the valve block.
No 1 - Rear passenger side No2 - Rear Driver side No 3 - Front passenger side No 4 - Front driver side Now connect the two pipes running to the rear air springs into one of the Y-pieces and the two pipes running to the front air springs into the other. |

It should look something
like this.
Don't forget to plug the slightly larger air pipe back in if you did remove it. |

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS If
manual re-inflation of the air suspension system is required, it is
important to disable the factory electronic ECU system first. The quickest
way to achieve this on a P38 Range Rover 1994-2002 is to remove the delay
timer which is situated under the front passenger seat, it looks like a
black relay and should be the only one under the seat, please check the Part
No: ANR4387 or ANR4652 before removing it. Please note: When the EAS Electronic Air Suspension is disabled there is no control over the height. A height of
450mm measured from the centre of the road wheel to the bottom of the
wheel arch equates to a standard setting. Check for leaks regularly as the
onboard compressor will not top up the system. DO
NOT OVER INFLATE THE AIR SPRING BAGS
- you will be surprised how quickly the vehicle will
rise up especially using a garage compressor. Over inflation will damage
your air spring bags. They will pop just like a balloon if over inflated. |
